So we had our first baseball practice outside yesterday since it was SO nice....windy but warm. We received bad news about Jett...keep in mind this is after we paid for him, ordered his uniform and he has been practicing with the team since January!! He is ineligible to play becuase you have to turn 5 before May 1st. When does Jett turn 5?? MAY 8th!!! Can you believe that...8 days!!! So here is what we are doing now...
We are signing Jett up for tee ball again...relunctantly...and he is still going to be a bat boy on Davis' traveling team, he just won't ever get to play. So I guess Duffer will coach the Marlins again...team that Jett was on last year. So if any of you...that have kids Jett's age and are playing tee ball want to request for Duffer's team he will be calling them this week. It would be so fun to have all the little 4 year olds (and 5) from church play together! I do realize that some of your husbands may want to coach so you so you may not be able to (or want to). Duffer does need someone to help him coach so that is an idea for someone maybe. He didn't like the dad that helped last year because he tried to take over. :o)
