jett has made a new discovery...the REMOTE!!! he has suddenly learned how to operate and he is out of control...literally. keep in mind this is my 4 year old...well almost 5 year old. when he watches a tv show he has to have the remote in hand...not just near him...he seriously won't put it down. every time he sees a funny part on a show, he will rewind and watch again. i know this sounds cute but it gets annoying for those also watching with him. :o)
it is so funny when children make new discoveries like this because it's like they must do it over and over and over.
another thing we have noticed is that he is suddenly becoming more mature. now instead of a meltdown when he gets fussed at...he will say, "dad, don't fuss at me" in the most calm, adult sounding tone. he really cracked me up when he told duffer, "dad, don't be so hateful". it is really adorable because he says it with no attitude at all...he says it almost pitifully like you have hurt his feelings and he is sad.
ah...they grow up too fast don't they???
