Day at the Park

This is a very eventful day. We didn't wake up until 9:30 and I started making us all pancakes when Cindy called and said they were heading on to the park. She lives in Ridgefields so they just walk. I told her as soon as we ate that we would meet her there. It started to sprinkle as we were leaving but we went anyway...it had stopped when we got there and Cindy and her crew were already there (she had her 4 children plus several that she watches in her home during the week). Here is Cindy...I think she looks great to have a 1 month old baby!

This is Cindy's son, Tucker. This was the only picture he would let me take. Davis and Tucker are in the same learning center, but have different teachers. The way they switch teachers though...they have Math together. Plus they play on the same football team in the summer (Cowboys) that Tucker's dad, Bo, coaches.

Davis was playing ball with Tucker, Jason and another little boy so I didn't get many pictures of him. :o(
Scyler and Rylee had fun playing on the playground. She has Duffer's eyebrows here!

This was Rylee's first time going down a slide on her own so it took some coercing from her daddy to get her down.

Once she went down once, then she did it over and over on her own.

Jett loves being silly and posing for me...he usually over poses to where I can't get very natural looking pictures from him.

See what I mean...

Still going down the slides...

I loved this picture of Jett...he has on his Lynn Garden Cowboys shirt (the same team I was talking about above). Jett will still be a Mascot this year but they play the 1st quarter and at half time. We tease Bo and say now that Duffer got him a job at Fluor and on his crew that both of our boys will be starting players this year in football!!! LOL!

I caught Duffer being the big kid that he always is.

This is Bella...Cindy's 3 year old. She and Rylee and big buddies. Everyone always thinks they are sisters when we are out.

This is Keagan...Cindy's oldest daughter. I have requested that Jett get in LCB (that is Learning Center B for those who aren't familiar with Washington Elementary) this fall when school starts. That is the learning center Davis was in when he was in primary and I love and already know all of the teachers. Keagan is also in that learning center so she and Jett will be together for 2 years until Keagan moves to Intermediate.

I can't remember who Duffer was sticking his tongue out at...I think it was either Keagan or Bella.
I think Scyler was a little overwhelmed at first by all the kids.

Davis
Rylee starting climbing up the slides....

See the look of happiness on her face when she made it to the top without anyone catching her!

Keagan wanted me to take her picture standing on the riding toy.

Miss Bella

Jett 'hanging around'

Scyler joining in...actually I think Jett was copying Scyler.

The funniest part of the day was when it came a down pour with no warning. Duffer and I took all of Cindy's kids and piled in our car...no seat belts or anything...I was holding Cooper (her 1 month old) on my lap with a 2 year old beside me....there were 5 kids in the middle row...and Scyler and Davis in the back. As we pulled out Scyler said, "Hey Nicole, this is SO cool!"

Tucker and his friend were on bikes so they rode on home in the rain. There were 2 older girls who took the triple stroller and walked on to Cindy's and then Cindy walked pushing her double stroller. Once we got to the side road we rode beside her laughing. She is hysterical and was saying she was ready for her Sports Illustrated photo shoot because she was soaking wet. Of course she added that if she hadn't waited on the Wallen's she would have been home and dry!! 8-O HA HA!

We stayed at her house and helped her with Cooper while she fixed lunch for everyone. I don't see how she does it everyday watching a bunch of 2-4 year olds with a newborn. Shew...

We left and went to the mall...at at Chick-fil-a and let Scyler get her birthday present (I mentioned it before but she got a webkin, a bag and Jonas Brothers button from Justice). Then we dropped off Duffer at the dentist...and drove around while we waited. This was when I drove by the old house we lived in to see if it had sold yet when I started screaming and carrying on. None of the kids knew what in the world was wrong with me. We decided we didn't want to live in Cooks Valley (well Duffer still wants to but I thought it was just too far to drive from daycare) but there is one house that I have loved since the first time we went to Duffer's dads and I saw it. I always said if it ever went on the market I would buy it in a heart beat...and as I drove by I saw the Realtor sign in the yard!! Could I believe what I was seeing??? I came home and looked it up on the Internet and it is a little steep for our price range but we are still going to go look at it. You never know how much they will come down.

Today we have been looking at some more so I could narrow my list down and tell my realtor which ones we want to look in. Well that is all for now...laundry is calling my name!!
