just my luck

okay i am sitting in an all day training class once again....very boring since i know most of this stuff - me being the computer genius and all! ;-) ha ha...kidding...our instructor always lets us out late so my friend sue and i got the brilliant idea to move the clock ahead 5 minutes so we could get out on time this afternoon.

well talk about backfiring! i tried to change the clock without removing it from the wall...i hit some button and it started zooming ahead hours and wouldn't stop!!! YIKES!!! I tried to fix it but you know how i get when i get tickled...i couldn't even speak let alone fix the flippin thing! it jumped from 1:20 - 10:50 in about 2 minutes flat. while it was flying ahead the others started coming back in from lunch and we were busted.

when it stopped (finally) i took the clock off and saw it had 4 buttons...PT, CT, MT, ET...apparently that was the only way to adjust it was by time zones....good grief! i switched it back to ET and it stopped whirling around just as the instruction walked in!...Shoo....that was close. then my wonderful friend, sue, sent the teacher an email saying i was a problem but that i couldn't help it...everyone in the class knew the underlying message but the teacher was oblivious.

and that was my excitement for today...
